15th Annual Show & Shine, hosted by the Relic Riders Motorcycle Club - Paddy’s Garden
Thursday, August 3rd
7:00pm Accordion Fest to kick off Carbonear Day Festivities
Come join us on the patio deck of the Rorke Store Museum and bring your Accordion!! If the weather is bad, we’ll take it indoors at the Loft Theatre.
Friday, August 4th
Events at Hot Line Cafe
Open until 9pm Jamaican Fish Fritters (3)& Jamacian Red Strip Beer $10.95
All Molson Products are 2 for $6.50 all weekend With Any Food Purchase.
7pm Moxley Cemetery Tour:
Leaves Bethany Cemetery Side Gate.
Entertainment to follow at the Loft Museum and our signature Bed Night Lunch.

12 – 3 pm. Art in the Street
FREE colouring, painting, crafts and more. Hosted by Ocean View Art Gallery.
12-6 pm 14th Annual Show & Shine, Relic Riders
3:30pm Raisin Bun Bakeoff Contest
Get you apron on and bake up some of those delicious Raison Buns: Judging to take place at the Town Hall, Civic Centre. All welcome whether you bake or not!
Sunday, August 6th
2:30 – 4 pm Free Swim Carbonear Pool
2 pm 9h Annual World Cup of Tiddly.
Men’s and Women’s Teams –5 or 6 players per team. Pre-registration, rules and further information on the Town website: www.carbonear.ca. Registration is also available at 1 pm at the Carbonear Recreation Complex. Please bring own gloves and safety equipment. “Hooked on Tiddly” T-Shirts are also available for purchase.
2:30 - 5pm: Princess and Pirates Walk and Children’s Activities
Rorke Store Premises. Dress in your Pirate and Princess Outfits.
2 pm St. Patrick’s Parish Walking Tour
, Beginning at the parking lot. Tour includes church, grounds, and a visit with some historical past members of the parish, entertainment and refreshments to follow. $5 admission
Monday, August 7th
8am Fish and Brew’s Breakfast
Knights of Columbus. First Come, First Serve. $10 per plate
11 am Carbonear Day Parade. Parade Route is from the Salvation Army Citadel to the Civic Centre where prizes will be awarded for best decorated bike, costume, wagon, float, car, motorized vehicle and best dressed dog. Prizes awarded to all children participating.
Student interpreter/actors will participate in the parade and will dress in period costume. Museums will be open all day.
1:30 pm – 2:30 pm
Little Miss & Mr. Carbonear Pageant. Paddy’s Garden (Weather permitting – otherwise cancelled).
Ages 5 – 7. Must be 5 by Dec. 31st, 2017 to participate. 16 contestants accepted on a first-come basis.
Pre-registration by calling Denise @ 596-3213. No entry fee required.
1 pm – 4 pm Carbonear Day Family Celebrations. Paddy’s Garden (Weather permitting – otherwise cancelled). Bouncy Castle, Pony Rides, Face Painting, Fish Pond, Cupcake Decorating, etc.
4 pm Free Swim, Carbonear Pool
